East Saddle Ridge

East Saddle Ridge is a working cattle ranch next to our family owned property. It also is bordered by the Nibrara River, Bear Creek, and Dry Creek. It offers numerous dams, native grasses, hard wood trees on creek and river bottoms and pine covered canyons and draws with alfalfa fields just over the fence. True Merriam Turkeys feed on the grassy slopes and roost in the many tall trees.

East Saddle Ridge is truly buck country. This ranch has not been hunted for many years and offers excellent opportunites for quality bucks. This property has some deep canyons with lots of honey holes where the big boys hang out. This is a low impact area and we only take a limited number of hunters for quality game management.

Whitetail Deer Hunts

Self guided archery hunts and black powder hunts are $1500.00 per person for a 5 day hunt (does not include permit). This price includes us doing the preseason scouting for scrapes, active bedding and feeding areas and travel patterns prior to your arrival. Self guided firearm deer hunts are $2000.00 per person for a 4 day hunt (does not include permit). This price includes a property tour of the travel patterns of game, and help with game retrieval and cleaning.

Merriam Turkey Hunts

Self guided Spring or Fall turkey hunts are $550.00 per person for 2 birds on a 3 day hunt (does not include permit). This includes a tour of the property for active roosting area, strut zones and travel patterns. In the West hunting unit there are an unlimited number of permits issued.
